Thermostat with immersion probe

Use
K373 thermostat equipped with immersion probe is used in some applications to control temperature in 40 - 80 °C range through an ON/OFF regulator. It can be used as safety thermostat with automatic reset, as regulator for sanitary hot water accumulators or to control temperature of secondary circuits supplied by interposition of three way diverter valves or two way motorized interception valves or with electrical actuators. It is supplied with intervention temperature set at 50 °C.

Features
K373 thermostat is equipped with an outlet trough closed relay in normal functioning with contacts free from tension. In case controlled temperature exceeds the value set by trimmer, the relay is de-energized by opening the contact.A Led on the watertight cover of the cabinet signals the  functioning state of the thermostat. When the functioning is normal, and thus controlled
temperature is lower than the setting value, the Led turns green and the outlet relay is energized and consequently closed, in these conditions. In case controlled temperature is higher than setting temperature or in case of anomaly to the probe (short-circuit or disconnection) the Led turns orange and the outlet relay is de-energized and consequently open. The relay is de-energized with contact opening also in case the tension to thermostat is turned o" . The temperature probe with diameter 6 mm and length 30 mm is equipped with a connecting cable 2000 mm long. With it, the control is also possible in applications where the pit of the probe needs to be placed away from the thermostat for technical reasons. The immersion probe of K373 thermostat is positioned by using the apposite 1/2”x 6 mm R227 pit, that is already included in K373Y012 version
